Thank you for shopping at Kalimantan Tropical Fruits.
Due to the rare, perishable, and delicate nature of wild-foraged forest fruits and botanical seeds, our return policy is strictly structured to ensure quality and biosecurity. Please read the conditions below carefully before placing an order.
1. Perishable Goods & Seeds (Non-Returnable)
In accordance with international trade standards for agricultural products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any live fruits, fresh produce, or botanical seeds.
Fruits: Because fresh fruits deteriorate rapidly and require strict cold-chain logistics, they cannot be safely shipped back or resold.
Seeds: To maintain genetic purity, viability, and prevent the spread of agricultural pests or diseases, seeds cannot be returned once they leave our controlled facility.
⚠️ Important Note: We reserve the right to refuse any physical returns sent back to our facilities without prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns of agricultural items will be destroyed immediately for biosecurity reasons.
2. Damaged or Spoiled Shipments
We take absolute care in our worldwide air freight and cold-chain packaging. However, if your order arrives severely damaged, spoiled, or dead on arrival (DOA) due to carrier delays or transit mishaps, you are eligible for a refund or replacement under the following conditions:
You must contact us at info@kalimantantropicalfruits.com within 24 hours of the tracking timestamp marking delivery.
Your email must include clear, high-resolution photographs of the damaged packaging and the condition of the fruits/seeds.
Once we review the proof, we will process either a partial/full refund or arrange a replacement shipment at our discretion.
3. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order for a full refund only if the order has not yet been processed or dispatched.
Because we harvest and package rare specimens fresh to order, cancellations cannot be accepted once the items have been packed, certified by phytosanitary authorities, or handed over to the courier.
4. Customs and Import Seizures
We provide standard international shipping documentation; however, the buyer is ultimately responsible for knowing the import regulations of their own country.
We cannot issue refunds for items confiscated, destroyed, or heavily delayed by your local customs or agricultural departments due to a lack of buyer-side import permits.
5. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
